Transformers Stop Motion Animation: "On the Prowl"

There's a bit of a controversy amongst fans of Transformers about the upcoming film. I've read several internet articles in which many fans (generally those who were kids during the run of Transformers G1 TV series in the mid 80's) are outraged by the changes made to the transformers design. Some are going so far as to say they will not watch the film because of this.

I'm going out on a limb and saying that the redesign doesn't matter because the film will indeed suck. By "suck", I mean suck the money out of millions of excited movie-goer's pockets and make a ton of money. Whether you are looking forward to this one or not, it will be highly successful and no doubt be followed by at least two (also highly successful) sequels. It doesn't take a psychic to predict that one accurately.
